THE ALL-NEW 2023 HONDA CIVIC TYPE R UNVEILED

THE ALL-NEW 2023 HONDA CIVIC TYPE R UNVEILED

Honda took the wraps off the new generation of the Honda Civic Type R, and in the process introduced the most powerful Civic Type R ever built. The car which has set records on multiple tracks for a front-wheel drive vehicle is more advanced than ever before and its styling stands out even more.

Built on the latest generation of the Honda Civic, the Honda Civic Type R features an aggressive design with flared rear doors, a large wing in the back, aggressive wheels, and a distinctive grill and front end. Inside, seats get additional bolstering as well as specific suede insert while the steering wheel and the gearbox also get distinctive visual touches. The red seats as well as a serialized plate are also included in the new Civic Type R.

The 2023 Honda Civic Type R has been built for life on the track. It is a very quick and very dynamic vehicle that provides some of the best handling ever found on a FWD vehicle. As a matter of fact, the new Honda Civic Type R set the record on the Suzuka track in Japan for a FWD model.

Honda says the all-new Honda Civic Type R will feature the most powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine ever put in a Civic. That means that it should produce significantly more horsepower than the current 306 ponies found in the Civic Type R. A six-speed manual gearbox with rev matching is back, making the Type R a true and unique driver’s car. The new model will also include an +R mode and a LogR feature which allows precise monitoring of track times, vehicle and driver inputs, vehicle response time, and overall performance. The Honda Civic Type R is better in every way. Give us a call today to learn more.
