2022 HONDA CIVIC GETS NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND BOLD NEW DESIGN

2022 HONDA CIVIC GETS NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND BOLD NEW DESIGN

The 2022 Honda Civic has been completely redesigned from the ground up. This 11th generation Honda Civic was unveiled yesterday, and hopes to continue the tradition of excellence set forth by other Civics. The Honda Civic is Canada's best-selling car and it has been for 23 years. This new Civic shouldn't have any difficulty continuing this trend.

The 2022 Honda Civic gets numerous improvements inside and out. Outside, we noticed the bolder design and the sportier overall look of the Civic. The new Civic sits on a redesigned platform which is more rigid than the outgoing one in order to improve comfort and reduce noise, vibration, and harshness inside. There is a bit more interior space in this new Civic, and the trunk can hold 419 L which is more than what you find in most compact sedans.

The interior gets new technology such as a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system, wireless charging for your phone, heated steering wheel, and an available Bose premium sound system.

There's also a host of safety Innovations found in the 2022 Honda Civic. Indeed, the Civic gets a new and revolutionary airbag design for the front passengers that is capable of preventing the head from rotating in angled forward collisions. This is a revolutionary design that is sure to change the way we think about airbags in cars. The 2022 Honda Civic also gets an advanced suite of driver assistance technologies that include Traffic Jam Assist and an improved blind spot monitoring system. The rear seats also get lateral airbags.

Under the hood, we find a 2 L 4-cylinder engine that delivers 158 horsepower along with 138 pound-feet of torque. This is the same engine that powers the 2021 Honda Civic, but it is more efficient in the new generation. The top-of-the-line Touring model will get a 1.5 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 180 horsepower along with 177 pound-feet of torque. This engine is not only more powerful, but it is also more efficient than the outgoing turbo.

The Honda Civic is better in every single way and should have no difficulty remaining the most popular car in Canada. It will arrive in dealerships this summer.
